Augustinian Monastery in Bad Langensalza

From the steeple of the Augustine’s Church, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the medieval city centre of Bad Langensalza and the preserved monastery complex of the Augustinian Monastery. 120 steps have to be claimed beforehand.
The City Museum with its changing exhibitions is hidden behind the more than 800 years old walls of the Augustinian Monastery in Bad Langensalza. Martin Luther visited the later city church and municipal school on 29 May 1516. In the cultural monument which is worth seeing you can find a chapel that has been restored true to the original, the remains of a late gothic cloister, masonry remains of the refectory and of the nave. The cloister and a second courtyard offer a beautiful background for outdoor events.
