Theater am Markt
The Theater am Markt (theatre at the market square) in Eisenach offers up to 60 visitors demanding and diversified acting art. A committed theatre management established this citizens‘ theatre in November 2008.
The theatre founders Timo Bamberger and Marcus Coenen themselves rebuilt a former restaurant into the Theater am Markt in Eisenach. It sees itself as play and production site of performing arts. With its innovative impulses, it offers children, young people and adults a diversified and extensive mixture of professional theatre and amateur theatre. The regional reference in the programme and the offer of active contribution inspire the Eiesenach people and the theatre’s visitors.
