In Lengenfeld unterm Stein it is possible to travel along the old railway track on a handcar. The track passes through varied natural surroundings and past unique, historic buildings.
The high point of the journey is the 244-m-long viaduct that crosses the village of Lengenfeld unterm Stein at a height of 24 metres, an engineering masterpiece from the late 19th century. With the pedal handcar the route crosses this bridge construction, unique of its kind in Germany. Less strenuous is the journey via the electric handcar, accompanied by an expert guide.
