Walk through the treetops of the Hainich at a height of 24 metres - this is only possible on the treetop trail. Numerous visitors enjoy this unusual experience every year.
From the National Park Centre at the Thiemsburg, where an interactive exhibition provides information about native flora and fauna, it is just a few steps to the treetop trail. The path includes adventurous rope bridges and broad, comfortable paths, enabling an unusual nature experience to be enjoyed by all visitors. The diorama in the distinctive tower with the radiant orange platform informs about the history of the forest and the national park. In addition, rangers are on hand to answer any questions visitors may have.
