The “Hainich Bus“ connects the two UNESCO World Heritage sites Wartburg and Hainich. Nature fans and persons interested in culture can commute between Eisenach, the Hainich National Park and Bad Langensalza by bus.
The Line 30 connects the medieval Free City of Mühlhausen with the Wartburg City of Eisenach. Persons interested in culture who have already explored Eisenach will find in Mühlhausen another cultural-historic highlight of the World Heritage Region.
This bus runs all year long, on summer weekends even with a bike rack, from Eisenach to Treffurt and back. Here, the focus for the visitors of the World Heritage Region Wartburg Hainich is put on bicycles, boats and hiking shoes.
With the World Heritage Ticket, friends of culture and nature get their money’s worth: Wartburg, Wildcat Village Hütscheroda and the Canopy Walkway with National Park Centre and Root Cave may be visited within two days. Admissions as well as bus trips from one destination to the other and back are included in the price.
The Environment Ticket preserves nature and helps to save money: the bus trip (there and back) from Eisenach or Bad Langensalza to the Thiemsburg Castle as well as admission to the Canopy Walkway with the National Park Centre are included in the price.
