Adventure Path Silberborn

Mysterious forest spirits entice you along the barrier-free Silberborn Hiking Trail. But this Path does not only have enchanting views, it also offers a lot of knowledge on nature at nine experience stations.
Already at the hikers’ parking lot "Mallinde", the starting point and end of the Adventure Path, visitors get to know Alruna, the seer of the forest. At nine exciting stations she explains everything there is to know about the animals, plants and the ecosystem of the Hainich National Park. The Silberborn trail in the Hainich National Park is ideal for adventurers. You need skills, brains and courage in order to solve the tricky tasks at the nine experience stations where Alruna confides the secrets of her forest to you. About mid-way of the three kilometres long circular hiking trail, it also becomes clear where its name comes from: the Silberborn source is bubbling there and only a few metres away, the unique Silberborn Lime rises into the sky.
