Sculpture Hiking Trail

Sculpture Hiking Trail

This hiking trails is located between Behringen and Hütscheroda. In 20 years, after sculptor symposiums, more than 160 works have been created, 110 thereof can still be seen. What you see is a perfect symbiosis of art and nature.

Starting from the sculpture park Behringen, the large Sculpture Hiking Trail was developed in the direction of Hütscheroda to the “Hotel zum Herrenhaus“, covering a length of about six kilometres. As circular trail, it amounts to twelve kilometres. Most of the sculptures can be seen here. In the sculpture park of Behringen, the estate of the famous Bad Langensalza sculptor Harald Stieding has been integrated with ten works. Starting from Hütscheroda, it is possible to walk the small sculpture hiking trail as circular trail with about four kilometres. We also recommend you to visit the wildcat trail from Hütscheroda which is also a circular trail and to walk to the lookout tower “Hainichblick“.
